Parc
Dinner in Campus Martius Park
My husband takes me on the best dates. On a beautiful Friday evening we had dinner in the center of the city park, hence the name. As soon as we walked up I knew why he picked this place. The location and ambiance was absolutely perfect for our date night. I was equally impressed when I learned that Parc was named 2018 Restaurant of The Year by Hour’s Magazine. The menu is inspired by the influences and flavors of Detroit’s vast cultural communities. Everything was amazing!
For starters I had the kale and arugula ceaser salad, while he opted for the oysters on the half shell.
Mediterranean Branzino with roasted seasonal vegetables, mint
gremolata, and carrot jus was cooked to perfection
King Crab Tagliatelle- housemade pasta, with butter roasted Alaskan King Crab, baby Fennel, crab crema, and toasted garlic
Life is short. Always get dessert. We shared the Hazelnut Brownie Sundae with espresso crème, salted caramel, toasted hazelnuts, and vanilla ice cream.
