My weekly masking routine was well established before the pandemic. Masking is one of the few things that I do that seems “normal”. With even more time on my hands now you can catch me in a sheet mask almost every other day! Here are some of my favorite facial masks for hydrated, glowing skin.

Soo’AE Charcoal Clay Bubble Mask

By far the best $2 you’ll ever spend on a mask. I use this charcoal clay mask when I get hormonal breakouts on my chin and forehead. The reason I love this one is because you can feel it working. Like immediately after putting it on your face. For some reason if I can feel something my mind convinces me the mask is actually working. The micro-oxygen bubbles combine with purifying black charcoal to gently lift away impurities, refine pores and remove dead skin.

Look Good, Live Well Exfoliating Mask dropped earlier this Summer and I was pressed with a P to get my hands on it! This highly anticipated mask is the first clean skincare product of many to come by beauty vet Ariane Turner.

This mask was created by a Black woman especially for people with melanin in mind. This 5 minute facial, works to not only eliminate hyperpigmentation, but to also prevent it from returning. My skin was buttery soft and supple afterwards. I can’t wait to see if it lives up to the hype of even toned, glowing skin!

Last but certainly not least my favorite mask that will always be in rotation, Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing Facial & Body Mask. I’ve used this mask on and off for at least 10 years! It works wonders and clears break outs quick. If you haven’t tried this one already you need to now.
