The third time is truly a charm. I’ve been to Mexico three times and this past trip to Tulum truly captured my heart. During my week-long vacay I snapped tons of pics so here’s a photo recap and travel guide of what to do and see in Tulum, Mexico.
Fly into Cancun International airport. I highly recommend renting a car over airport shuttle service or private transportation. Rental car rates are extremely low…like $5 per day. If you go the rental route be extra careful and read the fine print. Mexican Liability Insurance is mandatory in Mexico and usually isn’t included in the rate quote.
Go bike riding through the streets of Tulum. (Wearing: Forever 21 off the shoulder romper and Tory Burch sandals). Depending on where you stay some of the world’s best beaches are just a quick ride away. Like Playa Paraiso Beach.
Visit the Tulum Ruins. There are hundreds of Mayan ruins throughout Mexico, Belize, Honduras and Guatemala, but the Yucatan Peninsula (where Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Cancun are) are said to host some of the most impressive ruins.
Go snorkeling at Cenotes Dos Ojos
I still can’t believe I went snorkeling in an underground bat cave! So glad I opted to wear the wet suit because the water is freezing cold!
Go see some art work in downtown Tulum at The Gallery Oil and Acrylic Paintings by Robrad.
Tulum Beach Strip Street Art
Hang out at Tulum Beach and Casa Malca
Best $37 dollars I’ve spent all year on this black one piece cut out swimsuit.
Unedited, filterless sunsets will never get old
Have drinks and listen to dope live music at Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar
The BEST mojitos made with freshly crushed sugar cane juice that’s served out of a converted VW Beetle
