Over the weekend I made an exciting announcement on Facebook. Yours truly is now apart of the #GalSquad– a hand-picked group of social media beauty ambassadors for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa and Salons! (throws glitter!) If you read any of my District Beauty posts then you already know I’m a recovering product junkie obsessed with all things related to beauty so I am absolutely ecstatic to be partnering with Red Door Spas! Over the next few months I’ll be sharing exclusive deets about new beauty products and spa services.
Your feet are exfoliated with an invigorating watermelon-basil sugar scrub that is infused with organic vodka. Yes you read that right, vodka on your feet. The scrub smells heavenly. Next, you get a hydrating massage with silky vanilla butter cream scented shea and cocoa butter. The cream makes your feet and legs feel incredibly soft. The scrub is followed by a paraffin treatment to seal in all the moisture.
While sitting in the spa chair I jokingly shared a pic with my friends an said: Help me! I can’t choose! Then it hit me that the “hardest” decision of my day was to choose my nail polish. It may sound silly but lately I’ve been intentional about being thankful and appreciating the “small things” in life. Anyway, I’ll spare you with pictures of my feet (plus I think that’s weird) but I went with 3 coats of Capri by Essie. Even though I get pedicures throughout the year, for the first time in a while I actually felt like I’d been pampered. The hour-long service after an 8 hour work day was the perfect wind down. I have to publicly thank my nail technician Tanya! I truly enjoyed my specialty pedicure. If you love relaxing spa pedicures then I highly recommend that you try the watermelon basiltini one before the summer is over. I promise that you won’t regret it.
