What do you love about DC?

The diversity! I love that the residents come from all around the country and all around the world. DC is truly  a meeting of the minds. I also love that the diversity in careers, while we’ll always be known as a political town, DC is also emerging as a hub for creatives, a tech town, a food town, a stylish city and more!  

What do you hate about DC?

Well, the traffic of course. But it just means there are even more great people 🙂 #GlassHalfFull 

Little known DC fact?

I just recently learned the popular song “Afternoon Delight” by Starland Vocal Band was inspired by the spicy happy hour menu at DC-based restaurant chain Clyde’s. Okay, cool. lol. 

Favorite spot in DC

For leisure my favorite spot is the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Whether it’s grabbing a bike from Thompson Boat Center or cruisin’ with Boomerang Boats or a Pilates Class with the Georgetown BID or just lounging on a picnic blanket on the lawn I love the energy next to the water.

I love grabbin’ lunch at G Street Foods downtown and for dinner DCity Smokehouse. It was even just named as the best BBQ in town by the Washington Post. *Disclaimer they’re both my clients, but I wouldn’t work with them if I didn’t love them! Also for late night, &Pizza has stolen my heart.

The Forbes ranking is right on time! Just last year the D.C. tourism organization, Destination DC started the #DCCool campaign to capture all the exciting activity happening in town. I’m glad Forbes has been paying attention as well!
