Blessings Jar 2014

weekend DIY challenge

For the new year Andrea over at FLY encouraged creatives to make stuff for 2014 and become a part of those who are creating content. It made me consider what type of things  I’d like to explore this year. Her weekend challenge also inspired me to make something. I decided to finally make my blessings jar. This idea was influenced by entertainment executive Karen Civil. Each time something great happens I will add it to my jar. This jar will serve as a personal reflection tool and a tangible reminder to count all of my blessings at the end of the year.

Here’s what I used to make my blessings jar: scissors, decorative adhesives/embellishments, and a glass jar. In case you need a visual check out this video.

TheSeventhDistrictBlessingJar2014 I added sticker adhesives and a little bling to my jar.

BlessingJar2014 TSDIn effort to explore new things and make stuff throughout the year I will be pinning fun and creative DIY projects to try. Check out my District DIY Pinterest Board.
