2012 was a phenomenal year for The Seventh District. Every awesome experience didn’t always make it here to the site. Early in November I opened my email and while I was reading it all I could do was start screaming! I could barely grasp the fact that I was being invited to attend a private listening session of Brandy’s chart topping album Two Eleven! Hands down it was one of the best moments of 2012! Unfortunately cell phones and cameras were strictly prohibited. Major bummer right? Even though I managed to sneak some shots (above) that I posted to Instagram it doesn’t do the experience any justice.Well imagine my excitement when I discovered there was indeed video from the night! The intimate, private listening session was an absolute great experience! Words cannot even express how thankful I am for the chance to be in the same room as a superstar like Brandy!
I look forward to even bigger and better opportunities in 2013!
As a complete Brandy “stan”, this post is everything!!! I love her and how she poured her soul on “Two Eleven”. I saw her in concert in B-more last month and it was thee best show, ever! She’s still got it and I can’t wait for her tour! Thanks for sharing this
