Everybody knows I am one of THE biggest Beyoncé fans! She is my all-time favorite celebrity! When I got word of a recent interview with her makeup artist Wei Lang: Beyoncé’s Makeup Artist Breaks Down B’s Beauty Routine it felt like Christmas came early! That was until I read the interview.
What type of foundation do you use on Beyoncé?
I don’t really use a lot of makeup on her. The one thing I do when she goes out is contour (because of the photography) but not too heavily. She has flawless skin, so I don’t really want to cover that up.
How about face shimmer or highlighting products?
I really only use that on her forehead and under her eyes for a little highlighting. Every now and then, I’ll use a shimmer product.
What’s her beauty must-have?
She really does like liners, and she asks for that a lot, and lashes. And I always use mink lases on her. They look amazing. I use strips by Velour called “Are Those Real?”and I got her really into it, so she buys them by the ton.
OK so maybe its me but her makeup artist Wei Lang didn’t directly answer any of the questions! The post title was extremely misleading and not informative! What brand of foundation does she use? What shimmer products to you use? What’s her favorite liner? What exactly is her beauty routine? These are the types of things fans stans want to know! The writer knows this! She also knew that headline would get clicks. It did so I guess she wins. My only problem is for once for once just give us something more! The mystery behind this woman is just mind boggling. As much as I respect it at times I hate it. I can’t help but wonder if King Bey put some type of gag order on her glam squad and the people she works with? I’m hoping her highly anticipated documentary offers us more.
For people that are actually interested (people like me) the Velour “Are Those Real” lashes that Beyoncé wears are medium length lashes designed for everyday wear, with the mink sparsely distributed along the lash.

To be perfectly honest Bey doesn’t seem to wear alot of makeup. Mostly dark eye liner, eye shadows, and lipstick. Here are some of my favorite looks.

I’m glad you said something, because I was reading the responses from Wei Lang like, “Really? Are you for real? Can you be any more vague????” Wei must have stock in the eyelash company because why only name Velour? Wei ain’t slick!
I totally thought of you and then Keri when I saw the documentary announcement. I can’t wait to see it too. Love this post. I have heard alot about velour lashes. I wonder how well they keep up. Have you purchased? I think Bey wears a taaaad bit more makeup though. Though her skin might be great … the tone and complexion of her skin without makeup is uneven. so foundation and concealer techniques would’ve been appreciated lolol Anywho.,.. her daddy taught her well with PR.
Like you…I wanted MORE!!! Spill the beans already! Everything is so hush hush with Bey! And like the young lady above stated…I think she wears more makeup than Wei is admitting.
I’m glad it isn’t just me because I sat there reading this like, really dude? Really? Why say anything at all? I am really excited for her documentary, though. I want to see her and Jay-Z being normal.
