Every season fashion editor’s declare what’s in and what’s out. While I’m no food critic I think it’s safe to say over priced cupcakes are out and macaroons are in. I may be tardy to the macaroon party but the first place I tried macaroons in DC was Sweet Lobby. The Sweet Lobby name is a play on the distinctive location in the heart of Capitol Hill. And for the record they have no political affiliation. I’ve been to The Sweet Lobby several times since my first visit over a year ago. Just getting around to sharing these images. Enjoy!

Perfect timing! I’ve been looking for a boutique spot for fab macaroons! My previous forays with Windows Catering for my Coretta’s Elegant Events clients were spectacular but sometimes you just need to walk in and out with some goodness without an entire catering package.
