For the past two seasons the wedge sneaker has made its mark on fashion. First spotted on celebs like Joan Smalls, Tracee-Ellis Ross, and Beyonce it was no wonder the masses flocked to snag a pair of $800 sneakers. The Isabel Marant Bekket high top sneaker was so high in demand that lower end brandĀ Steve Madden took notes. Now Targets’ brand Xhilaration has released a knock off replica of the highly covetedĀ sneakers. I’m not too sure how I feel about this but sure enough here’s your Isabel Marant look for less.

I’m happy for this lower-priced option b/c these are something I would get for my daughters. I have a pair of the Steve Maddens but for the kiddies, $29.99 is about the right price point. I don’t have a problem with mid-low end brands making designs similar to higher end brands. Fashion should be accessible at multiple price points. I only have an issue with fakes i.e. items that are being passed off as high end items but actually aren’t.
Wow!! The two look quite similar. I just bought some from Bakers so I’m loving that they make a lower end brand
With Love,
