Jay-Z and Beyonce
The Carters will forever be #1 on my list of stylish couples! These two are the only celebrities that I can safely consider my faves. I’ve been directly influenced by most of Beyonce’s fashion looks. My friends say: “I’m extra” when it comes to my love for accessories and all things bling so I’m sure any of them can attest to the fact that I’m quick to say: This looks Beyonce-ish. Besides her crazy work ethic I admire her ability to glam it up for the red carpet or tone it down when captured candidly by the paparazzi. Her husband Jay-Z is a fashion and music mogul in his own right. From launching a successful urban apparel brand from his independently built music label, to collaborating with some of the industries’ top brands. Without a doubt The Carters’ have earned the right to be at the top of my stylish couples list.
After 10 years this couple has beaten the odds and kept their relationship and personal life private! That is commendable! If their success is attributed to the rumored Illuminati or not, the Carters have broken fashion and music barriers like none other. The recent addition of baby Blue Ivy has made this threesome practically music and fashion royalty!
Johannes Huebl and Olivia Palermo
Ever since MTV’s not-so reality series “The City” I’ve been style crushing on Ms. Olivia P. My favorite mean girl has been captured by all of the hottest street style photographers and her red carpet looks never disappoint. Her style is timeless and chic! She has been dating her incredibly sexy German model boyfirend Johannes Huebl since 2008. I really like this pair together. There’s something extremely attractive about a well dressed man in tailored suit.
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama
The First Couple really should be number one on this list. I’m making a bold statement by saying President Obama is the most swagged out President the world will ever see! The way he dresses, speaks, moves, and even sings, President Obama definitely gets a nod as one of the best dressed men of our time. Collectively the Obama’s have represented us right! Mrs. Obama has redefined the role of first lady! She gives new meaning to the term repeat fashion offender. She’s definitely not afraid of rocking the same thing twice while being photographed. With access to any and every designer she proves you don’t have to splurge to have style! Her wardrobe showcases that she frequents the common stores like J.Crew and White House Black Market just like the rest of us. This is a true power couple! I admire how they aren’t afraid to show some PDA! A few weeks ago the paps snapped some pics of the two caught on kiss cam at the Verizon Center. I couldn’t help but share the cuteness on my Facebook page.
Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian
Lord Disick Scott is a jerk but I like him! I like him alot! Probably more than I should but he’s such a fly guy! He takes risks and looks well doing it. When I can actually watch TV I find myself consumed with Keeping Up With the Kardashians. It’s something about that show. I just can’t turn it off once its on. Maybe I’m mesmerized by their media attention and lavish lifestyle of luxury. Kourtney is definitely one of the highlights of watching the show. Her style is so flawless and effortless thanks to her stylist Monica Rose. I have yet to see a fashion faux pas from Kourtney. I doubt that anyone can make pregnancy look as good and as chic as her. I can’t wait to see how she dresses their daughter Penelope.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (KimYe)
It took me awhile to accept it but I’ve finally joined Team KimYe. Regardless to Kim’s personal life the girl has has impeccable style! She knows her curvaceous body type and she wears clothes that compliment it to a T! Kanye is the ultimate male trend setter and fashion rebel. He rocks ensembles that some could only dream of pulling off and his attention to detail is beyond comparison. Looks can be deceiving but they honestly look happy together and who am I to hate on that! I especially love that he’s frequently photographed holding her hand showing that he’s protective over her. In just a short time the pair have been caught jet setting to the front row at Paris Fashion Week, yachting in Cannes, shopping in London, proving to make moves like a true powerhouse couple! Let’s see if it will last.
David and Victoria Beckham
Former Spice Girl also known as “Posh” has been named an international fashion icon for her incredible sense of personal style and love of sky high stilettos. After 4 kids she continues to show stop on all the red carpets. I love that even with her petite frame she owns all of her looks. It never looks like the clothes are wearing her. Twelve years of marriage to one of the world’s most famous soccer (football) players is just an added benefit! Have you seen David Beckhams‘ H&M and Armani modeling ads?! If not click HERE. Amare Stoudemire and Alexis Welch
The recently engaged NBA basketball player Amare Stoudemire and Alexis Welch are newbies to my style stalk list. This couple popped up on my radar after Amare partnered up with designer Rachel Roy for her RACHEL Rachel Roy women’s line. I had no idea this baller had a passion for fashion. I’ll be looking forward to seeing more looks from this soon-to-be wed couple.
