Special Delivery

Last weekend I celebrated my personal new year also known as my birthday! I enjoyed every bit of my long weekend thanks to my friends and family! Friday evening I received an unexpected package from St. Louis. Even though my birthday wasn’t until Sunday I was eager to see what was in the box. Like a kid on Christmas I ripped the box open. I immediately called my mom screaming once I saw what was inside the gift wrapped box!

Backstory: Last summer my mom was in the store with me while I debated over a pair of Gucci sunglasses. I tried them on over and over. While I admired myself in the mirror from all different angles I couldn’t quite get with the price tag. As superficial as it may sound to some I desired a pair of Gucci frames so bad that I ripped out a Gucci ad campaign from a Neiman Marcus catalog and put them on my vision board. Less than a year later I was gifted with a very similar pair that I absolutely love! Thank you Mommy (& Daddy) for surprising me with such a thoughtful gift! I’ve been wearing them non stop!
