Shop Violet

Sunday afternoon after brunch at Busboys & Poets, G stopped in Tryst for an iced mocha. As we were leaving I noticed a cutesy purple store- Violet Boutique. I decided to pop in to see what they had to offer.

Opened in March, Violet offers incredibly chic, trendy, and affordable fashion accessories, handbags, and clothes.

pants: Zara, bag: Juicy Couture, accessories: various, shoes: Steve Madden

Violet is having a MAJOR sale right now! Some summer items and accessories were marked down from $65 to $10 !!! Here’s a sneak peek of one of the jumpers I bought. Fashion steal for the awesome price of $10! Can’t wait to wear it!

While shopping I met Yoga extraordinaire Faith Hunter. Faith is a DC based yoga instructor who has a passion for beauty, movement, love, and soul freedom. She was a pleasure to meet and her skin is 100% flawless! I’m definitely going to take her up on her offer and try a Yoga class at her studio EmbraceDC. If you’re in DC make sure you check her out!

While trying on clothes I was able to chat it up with the boutique owner Julie. She was so sweet! Her and her staff welcomed The Seventh District with open arms.

“Fashion should be fun. It’s about experimenting, trying new looks, and most importantly, being your best self. Above all else, I want every woman to leave Violet feeling beautiful in their own skin. “– Julie Egermayer, Owner, Violet Boutique

Julie was sure to inform me about their inventory schedule. Violet is gearing up for new Fall pieces to arrive this week so their massive sale is in preparation for the new merchandise. I’ll be sure to stop by again to see what’s new!

Cute jumper. You just have to love a great sale.
It seems like a really lovely boutique. Great pictures. I (we) are looking for places to have events in various cities and I will have to make sure to check this place out. And thanks to your pictures I know exactly where the DJ should set up 🙂
