Nails and nail design are a fashion statement in their own right. About a year ago I stopped going to the nail salon for weekly manicures and started doing my own in hopes to save money. Ever since then I’ve become a complete nail junkie! I pay attention to nails more than ever before and I’ve accumulated a mini-collection of various nail polish colors and brands.
While browsing for new colors and trends I came across a few manicures I want to try.
Black and dark nail polish are one of my favorite nail trends to wear during the fall and winter seasons. Dark nails look great on all skin tones and add an instant touch of luxury glamour to any look. I’m definitely going to try a Black Matte French Manicure this fall.
I wouldn’t take it as far as getting designer brands as nail art but your nails do make a fashion statement.
What do your nails say about you?
I adore the nude polish with summer colours at the ends. My nails are either red or natural with a coating of clear polish. Lovig the colourful nails above, though.

I would love to try the black matte with black tips as well!! Sort of reminds me of a car- black matte paint job with shiny black rims.

Now you know this post is right up my alley! We’re nail polish connoisseurs. I love the black matte french mani, not really feeling the blunt shape of the nail though. I prefer a squoval (square + oval) shape. Have you ever checked Sophy Robson’s blog? She has a lot of dope nail colors and trends. She inspires a lot of my manicure ideas.

For sure trying a black matte. Said I would never go black back because it became a serious addiction (well that and deep purple) but I have to try this. OAN I heart Angela Simmons , she always has the best nails. I would love to see more of her on theseventhdistrict, she is so fab!

Not yet. To get the matte finish try matte nail polish. I believe OPI has one.
