Brunchin at Park’s Edge

I spent this past weekend in Atlanta. On Sunday I went to brunch with two of my girlfriends from grad school at Park’s Edge in Inman Park. This was my first visit to this quaint restaurant located between the city and Inman’s Park. I highly recommend brunch reservations. I tried calling before hand but the reservation books were closed. I was told there would be a minimal wait for patio seating. I arrived at brunch prime time shortly after noon and the hostess said there would be a 15-25 minute wait. 20 minutes turned into 45 minutes waiting in the small packed hallway. Once we finally were seated in the bar area, I ordered Steak and Eggs with Chimmi Churri sauce served with home fries and added a side of grits.

The Steak and Eggs were scrumptious but the grits were a little thick for my preference but still delicious once I added sugar. My southern girlfriend was sure to inform me that I was doing it wrong. Supposedly salt not sugar goes on grits. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard that. Guess its a midwest thang!

My girlfriends’ both ordered the Chef’s Shrimp and Grits while we enjoyed $10 Bottomless Mimosa’s and Bellini’s. V. Renee loved it!

If you’re in Atlanta swing by Park’s Edge for brunch located at 913 Bernina Avenue NE Atlanta, GA. Call 404.584.7275 for reservations or email eat@parksedgeatl.com
